About Beeswax Wraps

The New Plastic Wrap!

Our beeswax wraps are a natural alternative to plastic wrap.  They are made with all cotton fabric and 100% natural beeswax from our own bee hives.  We do not add tree resin or jojoba oil as some do.

Keep harmful plastic wrap off you and your family's food.  Switch to our all natural and 100% biodegradable beeswax wraps.

Theses wraps keep fresh breads fresh.

Beeswax Wraps can be used to...

  • Seal bowls for the fridge using a round wrap
  • Cover sandwiches with rectangle wraps
  • Seal the end of a cucumber or half a lemon with a small wrap
  • Use on a half watermelon or cantaloupe
  • To cover jars of pickles or applesauce
  • Wrap cut vegetables for lunch
  • Cover a milk or water pitcher in the fridge
  • To wrap greens and herbs to keep them fresh
  • Preserve cheese or crusty bread
  • Open the wrap as a place-mat when you eat
  • Mat for rolling out pie crusts
  • The more you use your wrap the easier it becomes to mold and the more uses you will find for it.
  • Never use for raw meat!

Lunches

To care for your wrap, wipe with cool water.  You may wipe with mild Castile soap if necessary.  Let your wrap air dry and then fold or roll your wrap and store in a basket on the counter.

The wraps should last about 1 year with proper care. When the wrap has finished its useful life, wrap it around a piece of kindling to start a fire or cut it into strips for your compost pile.
